Carotid intimo-medial thickness research

The role of carotid intimo-medial thickness and its effect on prognosis of cardiovascular event and implication for statin therapy in at risk patients with first presentation for risk factor control is being developed by Adelaide Vascular. 

A protocol is being devised to use in conjunction with specialised software to effectively study this with IMT measurements that can be replicated.
