Fenestrated stent grafting surveillance for complex EVAR follow-up

Published: 21 Jul 2011

Adelaide Vascular has set up a registry of fenestrated stent graft and iliac branch device surveillance for complex endovascular reconstructions for aortic disease. The registry is part of the surveillance of endovascular interventions of aneurysms and will form a basis of ongoing improvements in non-contrast imaging and follow-up of aortic interventions.

Fenestrated devices often require more close surveillance as branch vessel occlusion can lead to significant complications and in some instances be life threatening.
